What People's Say About Place

It's a bit off the main road, down a dirt road, past a couple houses. It's a typical, local dive bar. Two pool tables and a wide 180⁰ window wall over the river. Friendly folks. Lots of tables inside and a couple tables outside. Small dock to pull your boat up to, but don't go swimmin', since an 8' gator drifted past. Beers come out of an ice chest. I'd go back again to drink beer and watch the river roll by.

The Jake burger by far one if the best burgers I've ever had. Kent Cooper did a great acoustic set. Live music, Family friendly. Great place to go by land or water.

Only 3.6 miles from Gunter COE, sits right on the river, very interesting atmosphere, I had the bbq sandwich which was great. Worth checking out, live music certain nights.

Stopped by for lunch. Wanted a bar burger but the BBQ changed my mind. The fries were the best I've ever had. Lynn behind the bar is now a friend! Wife ordered the same. There was some bark on the q so no sauce needed but did use honey mustard. Atmosphere was perfect river dive bar.

I went with a very large group during a benefit ride and everyone there was super friendly. We had great service especially considering how many people were with us.

Ordered 3 meals The catfish sandwich is good Oysters-great but the shrimp was overcooked. Catfish and shrimp with okra & onion rings- everything was overcooked

This place is absolutely phenomenal! Last month, we were on road trip throughout the southeast and stopped in Montgomery for the night. Before we even left Berlin, Germany, we had looked for the best places to eat in the surrounding area. Needless to say, Jake's Fish Camp was at the top of the list. We were not disappointed! Not only was the food excellent, but the owners, as well as the guests, made us feel right at home. This is the place to go for food and music if you are ever in Montgomery! Five out of five stars!

This place is memories since I was a kid. We finally bought a boat and needed to go to the Ole River bar. It's got a soul that you either get or you don't. Good drinks , live music, and it's a chill spot to relax while also enjoying a day on the water.
